Slipknot has been around since 1997 but wasn't discovered until 1999 playing at a small club in Des Moines, Iowa. In about one years time they had signed a deal, cut an album and had a hit single. "Wait and Bleed" sent this little Iowa band, consisting of band members known simply by a number, onto a world wide tour.
